Study Abroad

As a student at Monroe Community College you can graduate with experience studying in another country. You will learn about yourself and another culture, improve your foreign language ability and develop skills valued by future employers. 

Types of Study Abroad

  • Short term 
    MCC faculty offer short term On Location Courses for credit.  Available On Location Courses. Take the course in the spring semester and travel during a College break or during the summer.
  • Semester & Year Long
    MCC students can participate in any of the programs offered through SUNY Study Abroad Programs.

FINANCING STUDY ABROAD

You can apply state and federal aid toward your study abroad program as long as it is pre-approved by MCC. There are also many Study Abroad Scholarships you can research and apply for as well as MCC Scholarships.
