Student Injury Policy
When a student sustains an injury on campus or in the clinical laboratory, faculty and student immediately follow the policy of the agency where the injury occurred. In all instances of injury, faculty also must notify the MCC Departments of Public Safety to file a report as soon as possible. If the injury prevents participation in clinical then Health Services should be notified and a clearance will need to be submitted from the faculty/student’s primary care doctor in order to return to clinical.
