PPE 182 - ACSM Lab/Practical Skills

1-3 Credits

This course is designed to in part prepare Physical Education Studies students to take the ACSM HFI (American College of Sport Medicine, Health Fitness Instructor) exam. The student will be expected to complete the Exercise Physiology (PPE 275) course in the Spring Semester to complete the necessary requirements to take the certification exam. Students must be Physical Education Studies majors to register for this class. Fifteen laboratory hours and eight lecture hours over seven weeks. Fall Semester only.
