CRT 181 - Speedbuilding

4 Credits

Designed to increase speed, endurance and accuracy for reporting of multi-voice testimony, jury charge, and legal and technical material. Emphasis on development of vocabulary, grammar, punctuation, note reading and realtime writing skills. Instruction will include the use of online, computer-aided transcription technology with teacher interaction. The course is designed for self-paced modular instruction and shall incorporate the use of Web-enhanced instruction. Upon completion of each module, students should progress to the next module/speed throughout the program to increase speed, endurance and accuracy for reporting of multi-voice testimony, jury charge, and legal and technical material.
