Degree Options
Our Transfer programs are two-year programs that allow students to earn an Associate in Arts (A.A.) or an Associate in Science (A.S.) degree and complete the first two years of a baccalaureate degree. Because each four-year institution has its own program and degree requirements, any student planning to transfer is advised to select courses in consultation with a department chairperson, faculty member, or counselor. Our Career programs are two-year programs providing an opportunity for students to earn an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree. Upon completion of the program, a student is prepared for immediate entry into a specific technical or paraprofessional career field. Although emphasis is upon providing particular occupational skills, many students do transfer and successfully complete baccalaureate degree programs.
Our Certificate programs are offered to students who desire a rather high degree of specialization in a short program of instruction. Programs vary in length from 15 to 32 college credits. All courses may be applied toward a degree should the certificate recipient later decide to complete the associate degree requirements within his field of study.
