This course is designed to address specific topics of interest in history. Offerings are more specific and focused than the introductory surveys. Topics may change from semester to semester based on faculty and student interest.

1. Describe and explain the historical development of a certain people(s) or culture(s) within some geographical and temporal limit or framework.
2. Analyze this people's society and social structure.
3. Break down the workings of this people’s economy.

6. Reconstruct this people’s relations with other people.
7. Evaluate and assess the soundness of assertions about what happened in history.
