FPT 135 - Aircraft Fuel Spill Fire Fighting

This course provides firefighters with the knowledge and skills to extinguish aircraft fuel spill fires, utilizing both classroom and live-fire extinguishment simulation. This course exceeds FAR 139 annual requirements for live fire training. Must have firefighter certification.

Course Learning Outcomes
1. In an aircraft fire emergency situation, identify life safety hazards to passengers and firefighting crews and select a rescue and mitigation plan utilizing turret-equipped aircraft rescue and firefighting vehicles.
2. Coordinate the operations and movement of multiple aircraft rescue/firefighting vehicles.
