A survey of drama and theatre as an art form. Explores playwriting, acting, lighting, makeup, costuming, stagecraft, and theatre history.

Course Learning Outcomes
1. Demonstrate the ability to recognize the various performance styles and genres of theatre production
2. Identify the various occupations of theatre both in the performance realm and technical realm
3. Analyze the work of selected playwrights; both in a visual and dramatic sense
4. Critique a dramatic performance based on performance quality and technical aspects
