Presidential Search Advisory Committee

The Presidential Search Advisory Committee is a diverse, cross-functional team of Monroe Community College students and employees charged with establishing the structure for the search for MCC’s permanent president.

The Advisory Committee is different from the Presidential Search Committee. The Advisory Committee will build a strong foundation upon which the Presidential Search Committee will launch a national search beginning in the fall of 2020, with the goal of selecting a new, permanent president in spring 2021.

During spring 2020, the Advisory Committee will:

  • Coordinate opportunities for the College community and external stakeholders to engage in the search process (e.g., open forums, online surveys).
  • Draft the MCC Presidential Profile and job description documents.
  • Determine the role of the search consultant.
