Attendance Response
Eligibility
If you graduated from Monroe Community College in August 2024 or December 2024, or if you are a verified candidate for graduation for May 2025 or August 2025, you will receive an invitation to the 2025 Commencement Ceremony.
Commencement attendance is optional; all diplomas are mailed to students. Please respond only if you have received an invitation.

Respond Online
If you wish to participate in the Commencement Ceremony on May 29, 2025, if your MCC account is still active, please follow these directions to submit a commencement attendance response online:
- Log into myMCC
- Click on the 'Student Home' tile
- Click on the 'Graduation Services' tile
- You will find the 'RSVP Commencement' tile there
Respond by Email
If you are unable to reply online, you may choose to respond by sending an email message to Graduation Services (graduation@monroecc.edu). Please be sure to include:
- Your name
- Your student ID number
- What term you earned, or will earn, your degree
- Your message that you will attend
- The phonetic spelling of your name if you think it may be mispronounced (example: Nguyen is pronounced “win”).
Not Attending?
If you do not plan to attend, no response is required. You don’t need to attend Commencement to receive your diploma. Diplomas are sent to you by mail. August 2024 and December 2024 graduates should have already received theirs, May 2025 and August 2025 graduates will receive their diplomas approximately 6-8 weeks after the degree conferral date.
