Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning
The A.A.S. degree program provides a well-rounded education in HVAC technology with a thorough understanding of the theory and applications necessary for systems operation.
Graduates of the A.A.S. degree program will have a thorough understanding of the math and physics that HVAC principles are built upon. This program will also prepare the student wishing to pursue a bachelor's degree in HVAC. Students interested in a bachelor's degree are advised to contact the HVAC faculty prior to enrollment for specific course suggestions. Intersted students can sign up for an information session at MCC's Applied Technology Center for a tour and to learn more about the program.

Heating, ventilating, and air conditioning technicians are skilled workers who design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot the air conditioning, heating, ventilating, and commercial refrigeration systems that provide us with comfort and temperature security. Employers include independent heating and air conditioning contractors; public utilities; and maintenance, engineering, or facilities departments in industry, schools, and hospitals. The HVAC department can also tailor a non-credit course for an organization or contractor. Please contact the HVAC department at 585-292-3722.
