The 10-credit GIST Fundamentals microcredential will provide students with a foundation in introductory level Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Upon successful completion of this microcredential, students will gain an understanding of the fundamentals of GIS, Cartography, and Remote Sensing.

Requirements:
GEG 130 – Digital Earth (4 credits, grade of C or higher required)
GEG 131 – Cartography (3 credits, grade of C or higher required)
GEG 133 – Introduction to Remote Sensing (3 credits, grade of C or higher required)
NOTES:
GEG 131 is typically only offered in the fall semester.
