Learning Centers

Tutorials and specialized support activities offered through the Tutoring and Academic Assistance Center at both campuses are designed to enrich educational opportunities of MCC students and subscribe to the College's highest priority: student success.

Services Offered

  • One-on-one and group tutorials are offered to students across academic disciplines in more than 300 MCC courses. (In addition, tutorials are offered at the Applied Technologies Center. Upon request, on-site tutoring is available at the Public Safety Training Facility.)
  • Occupation-specific workshops, customized review sessions, and guest speaker presentations for career and technical students are offered.
  • In-class workshops assist students in strengthening their writing skills (i.e., in-class essays, response essays, what a college paper should look like, literary essays, documentation styles for research papers).
  • Computers are available for students to type papers, research via the internet, access email accounts, etc.

Brighton Campus:
Monday through Thursday  8:00am to 9:00pm
Friday  8:00am to 4:00pm  
Saturday  10:00am to 5:00pm               

Downtown Campus:
Monday through Thursday  8:00am to 6:00pm
Friday  8:00am to 4:00pm
