College Now Teaching Requirements

In MCC’s College Now Dual Enrollment program, high school teachers are a crucial element in offering a high quality, rigorous, college-level experience to students. Once a high school identifies a course and its instructor that aligns with an MCC dual enrollment class, the high school instructor will need to fill out the Teacher/Course Approval Request Form and email it to the College Now Office along with their unofficial college transcripts (undergraduate and graduate) and current resume. Once all documents are received the academic department for the course will review all the credentials.

Once certified, each high school teacher is assigned a Faculty Liaison who will provide guidance and serve as a resource during the time the course is offered.
