Engineering Technologies Lab Tour

The Metrology and Material Science Lab Room 09-161, located on the first-floor of Building #9 is used by students enrolled in courses in Metrology, Material Science, Fiber Optics and Electro Optics.

The lab includes seven lab workstations for students as well as a center island with a variety of equipment used for testing material properties. Much of the equipment in the room was purchased using funds from a Perkins IV Federal Grant. These grants typically provide high-end equipment for career programs, allowing students to gain experience using the latest state-of-the-art technology and methods.
