Betty is responsible for the overall supervision and leadership of the Office of Student Life and Leadership Development, and for ensuring that students have the opportunity to engage in a robust co-curricular program. She enjoys helping students find their passion and develop skills they will use while at MCC and throughout their lives. Among other things, two of Betty’s favorite responsibilities include serving as the advisor to the MCC Student Government Association and working with the rest of the Student Life staff to engage the campus community through leadership programming.
Since starting at MCC in 1989, Betty has had a variety of responsibilities. She was appointed as Director of the Office of Student Life and Leadership Development, in 2005. Betty received a Bachelor of Arts degree, in Sociology, from SUNY Geneseo and a Master of Arts, in Student Personnel Administration, from Slippery Rock University (PA). In her spare time, she enjoys reading, knitting, fixing things around her house, and spending time with her family and two dogs.
