Advanced Placement Courses
More than 1,400 institutions in the United States, including Monroe Community College, recognize the rigor of Advanced Placement (AP) courses and award transfer credit to students who complete AP exams successfully.
The extra time and effort you devote to AP coursework in high school will pay off in college. You may be able to reduce the number of classes you need to take each semester or even graduate ahead of schedule. Most important, however, is that AP courses offer students an opportunity to challenge themselves and establish a solid foundation for college studies.
