MCC ARPA Grant Registration
MCC ARPA Grant
MCC's Public Safety Training Facility has partnered with County Executive, Adam Bello, and Pittsford Ambulance to accept Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) and Paramedic program applications for the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant funding. This project is supported, in whole or in part, by federal award number SLFRP0206 awarded to Monroe County, New York by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
EMTs and Paramedics are highly-trained healthcare professionals, who work hard to help people in every community. Through grant-funded partnerships, we have the path for you to become a New York State medic. Our program will pay for:
- Tuition, textbooks, uniforms, and training fees
- A bi-weekly educational stipend of up to $500.00 for EMT students / $845.00 for paramedic students
- Opportunities for transportation and daycare reimbursements
- Academic help for additional certificate or degree courses available for qualifying candidates, including tuition, textbooks, course fees, and an additional bi-weekly educational stipend of up to $500.00.
Students who take part in the program can acquire all credentials required to be a NYS EMT-Basic or a NYS Paramedic.
