Departmental Challenge Exams

At MCC, we offer challenge exams for some courses. These types of exams allow you to challenge the course by completing a department created exam (e.g., written exams, lab practical, hands-on skills assessment). Students can earn credit if they achieve a certain score. Credits awarded for a course by challenge exam will be displayed on the student’s transcript and Degree Works and has no impact on a student’s GPA.
