Currently enrolled students, that demonstrate financial need, can earn money through the Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program. When possible, the program encourages you to apply for jobs related to your course of study.

Here's how it works:

  • Your FWS hourly pay will be at least the current federal minimum wage, or higher.
  • You’ll receive your wages on an hourly basis and be paid biweekly.
  • The amount you earn cannot exceed your total FWS award.
  • When assigning work hours, your employer will consider your class schedule and your academic progress.

Once you’ve accepted your award, it will be up to you to review current openings, apply for positions that you’re interested in and interview with the associated offices or departments.
