Faculty Support / Zoom Support Hours
We offer support in Brightspace, Zoom, Instructional Design, AI, and Accessibility.
Faculty are welcome to chat with our team, share their screen, and receive personal
guidance tailored to their needs. Updated schedules will be sent to faculty on a weekly
basis through our Virtual Campus (VC) Faculty Center announcements in Brightspace.
Please be sure to enable your Brightspace notifications and check your "Other" folder
in Outlook.
Drop-In Zoom
Please use the Zoom link during scheduled support hours. If you need assistance outside
of drop-in times, feel free to contact the Virtual Campus to arrange an appointment.
Other Support Options
- Faculty can contact the SUNY Online Support Services Help Desk for Brightspace support after hours and on the weekend.
- Please note the new support hours for Fall 2026 beginning August 24. Thursdays will
be reserved for appointments. Please use our team bookings page to Book an Appointment

Instructional designers are available by appointment to assist with planning, development

Whether you're developing a new course, teaching online, or enhancing your use
of Brightspace, the Faculty Innovation Center and Virtual Campus offer a variety of
tools, training, and support resources to help you succeed. Explore the resources
below for technology assistance, online teaching guidance, accessibility training,
and course development support.
Faculty Innovation Center
The Faculty Innovation Center (FIC) is located in the Virtual Campus Center, Brighton
Campus (room 3-122A). Faculty are welcome to use the computers for course work and
development. We have recently added a license for Adobe Acrobat on six of our FIC
computers. We also have a printer available on site for your convenience.
If you plan to visit in person for direct support, we kindly encourage you to schedule
an appointment in advance. Please email the Virtual Campus.
Brightspace Resources
- VC Faculty Center: Our organization contains resources for Brightspace and other college-supported
technology, resources for the design of online courses, and our weekly support schedules
(all faculty are enrolled in this space)
- Access: A Quest Toward Inclusion: This asynchronous, self-paced program allows you to expand your skills around basic
digital accessibility principles created by our colleagues at SUNY-Oswego (all faculty
and staff are enrolled in this space)
- Brightspace Tutorials for Instructors: YouTube tutorials created by D2L on how to use various features of the Learning
Management System.
- SUNY Digital Learning Environment (DLE) Website Brightspace resources created from SUNY. Some information may require your SUNY login
(MCC email/password).
