Advisement

Whether you are a math whiz or a math avoider, you will want to start in the right math course - and stay on the right math track - for your background. Otherwise, you might waste your time in a course that's too advanced (where you may get discouraged and perhaps fail), or one that's too easy (where you won't learn much.)
