Downtown Campus


You may apply on-line for parking once you have registered for your classes. Your license plate number will serve as your "virtual permit" with the college. Commuter parking on the Downtown Campus is a paper-less permit system.

To apply for commuter parking at the Downtown Campus you need to apply on-line. All vehicles parked at the Downtown Campus as a commuter student for the semester must have registered their vehicle(s) by the enforcement date listed on the entrance to student lots.

For parking inquiries in person, you may need to bring the following items: Driver License, Student ID, and Vehicle Registration.


Parking on the Downtown Campus is available at meters located in Lot AA $.50/hour 2 hour maximum or; Pay-By-Plate Station - is available at the main entrance to the building. Cost for parking is $5 per day. Payment is by credit/debit card or cash. A valid license plate must be entered for proper parking registration. If using cash, you must have the exact amount. Machine does not provide change or refunds.

Personal Property

Security for personal property, including vehicles, is the owner's responsibility. Personal belongings should be removed from sight in the vehicle or removed altogether. MCC is not liable for personal property that is lost, stolen or damaged. The College's insurance does not cover these types of losses. Students are encouraged to carry insurance through their own or their parents' homeowner/tenant and automobile insurance policies. Please report all crimes to the Department of Public Safety for investigation.
